Auto Zero Photo Colorimeter (LCD Display)

Auto Zero Photo Colorimeter (LCD Display) Auto Zero Photo Colorimeters Model No. 032-G are the finest colorimeters that combine convenience in operation with high precision & accuracy of Absorbance analysis. They use the latest microcontroller technology to give results in the form of Abs. High standard glass filters covering 400-700 nm are mounted on a rotating disc. Highly sensitive photo sensor and use of latest IC technology makes the instruments highly rugged. A minimum sample volume of 1 ml is used. In-built shutter increases the life of the photocell. It is extremely useful for blood chemistry in chemical /clinical labs, pharmaceutical industries, medicine plants, water treatment plants, agricultural universities etc. Salient Features   ·       Highly Accurate and Stable   ·       % Transmission and Optical Density Mode   ·       Auto Zero Facility   ·       Compact & easy to operate   ·       Soft Touch membrane keys     ·       1 ml sample size   how to use calorimeter  Uses of Colorimeter The colorimeter is an instrument that allows for the measurement of light and its intensity to match colour as it is perceived by the human eye. The colorimeter compares the measured colour against the standard colours with the color spaces. Table of Content What is Colorimeter? General principle of calorimeter Uses of Calorimeter FAQs What is Colorimeter? Colorimetry is one of the methods of spectro analytical methods. The variation of the color of a solution with change in concentration of some solute component in the solution, forms the basis of colorimetry. The colour is either the inherent colour of the constituent itself or due to the formation of a coloured species by the addition of a suitable reagent. The intensity of the colour can then be compared with that obtained by treating a known amount of the chemical substance in the same manner. General Principles of Colorimeter A colorimeter May be used to measure the concentration of a chemical in a solution if the chemical imparts a characteristic color to the solution. The colorimeter optical system isolates a narrow waveband of light at a selected absorption peak for the chemical that is measured. The intensity of the transmitted light at the absorption wavelength is a function of the concentration of the chemical in the solution. When only the light at this wavelength is used, Beer’s law is obeyed and maximum sensitivity is obtained for the instrument. Use of the narrow wavelength band usually makes possible the elimination of the absorption effects of other chemicals in the solution. However, the effect of some chemicals cannot be eliminated if they change the complex ion formation of the chemical being measured. This is the case when uranyl nitrate is measured in a solution containing nitric acid. ..  . More Read References and Sources  (TOP SALES MODEL Photo Colorimeter ) photo colorimeter 110 Auto Photo Colorimeter Auto colorimeter    Technical Specifications   Range   400 nm to 680 nm   Optical Filters   8 Filters mounted on the Turret   400nm, 420nm, 480nm, 500nm, 520nm, 540nm, 620nm, 700nm   Optical Density   0 to 1.99 O.D   Transmittance   0-100%   Accuracy   ± 0.02 O.D and ± 1% T   Resolution   ± 0.01 O.D, %T:1   Display   16×2 lines Alpha Numeric LCD Display with Backlit   Keyboard   Single key, Soft Touch Membrane Type key   Light Source   LED   Minimum Volume   1 ml   Sample System   10 mm path length matched glass test tubes   Detector   Photocell / Photo Diode   Warm Up Time   5 minutes   Power   230 ± 10%, 50 Hz A.C   Dimensions   225x210x110 mm   Accessories   1) A Set of 5 Matched Test Tubes   2) Tube Stand   3) Dust Cover   4) Instruction Manual.
